AEL Sistemas SA Receives $15M Order for Initial Production of 30mm Remote Controlled Weapon Station for Guarani

Order continuing the MoU signed in 2011 of US$ 260 million September 14, 2012

Haifa, Israel | Elbit Systems announced today that its Brazilian subsidiary AEL Sistemas SA received an initial production order valued at US$ 15 million to meet the Guarani Project. These systems will equip armored vehicles produced by IVECO and will be installed within two years.

This announcement is in addition to the announcement of Elbit Systems of January 6, 2011 relating to the contract of $ 260 million for the supply of remotely controlled weapon system UT30BR for the Brazilian Army.
