1st SHOWING BID-Ministry of Defence - Exhibition of military equipment
On days 16-17 August in Brasilia Air Base, was held the first exhibition of defense and security products manufactured in Brazil and are part of the Defense Industrial Base (IDB). At the site, were presented by the Brazilian Association of Defence and Security Materials (Simde) and the Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex) various equipment for the sector. In this event the AEL Sistemas presented, among other systems, development projects supported by FINEP:
Relief Mapping System - formed by integrating a tactical radar and a computer. The database has information on high terrain providing safe flying at low altitude, day and night providing better situational awareness to the pilot.
EGI - The first Brazilian inertial sensor location for airborne platforms. This system consists of inertial navigation (INS) and global positioning satellite (GPS) that perform all the tasks of navigation aid, stating the position, velocity, attitude (slope and curvature), linear and angular acceleration, angular rates of the aircraft and temporal data (date / time) to the processor s mission.
Brasnet Link - A tactical network that utilizes advanced data link bandwidth, managed by an embedded system for high performance while maintaining the connectivity necessary in Command and Control systems for common situational awareness among all forces (air, sea and land) .
In the new framework opportunities, AEL Sistemas invests in consolidating the region as another important center of defense technology in Brazil.
