Hermes 450 tests engage military officers from the Missões region

Members of the 1st Communications Battalion (BCom), from Santo Ângelo, in the Missões region, took part in military tests of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), at Santa Maria air base. For this operation that aims to help Santa Maria Air Force, the corporation designed a technical device that receives data sent by the UAV and retransmits them to a base at another strategic location. The test aims to check conditions in order to use the equipment that is manufactured in Israel in the Brazilian Air Force recognition missions and also as an intermediate communication platform. As the UAV is not controlled by a pilot, it can perform riskier actions such as very low altitude flights.
