AEL Sistemas presents national and cyber security technologies at industry events
Through cybernetic solutions, the company reinforces its Command and Control skills and presents state-of-the-art technologies for data and information analysis
AEL Sistemas will be part of the two most important Brazilian events of cyber security and National Defense, which, this year, will be held simultaneously. During the Brazil Cyber Defense Summit & Expo and the Conference on Simulation and Military Technology, which will take place April 23-26 in Brasilia, AEL will demonstrate its technological capacity in the Command and Control area, as well as present integrated solutions and systems for the COBRA (Brazilian Combatant) project and also cybernetic solutions that monitor, detect, process and analyze large amounts of information.
"This is an unprecedented event in Brazil, with the union of two important themes for national security. AEL Sistemas’ participation will be a great opportunity to demonstrate both our solutions and our expertise in these areas", says Fernando Ikedo, Marketing Director of AEL Sistemas.
AEL Sistemas will take to the events products such as Dominator™, a system composed of many equipment, sensors and software, which provides a wide situational awareness, facilitating the decision-making process and increasing the operational capacity of the soldier.
An integral part of this system is Raptor, individual high-performance computer with visualization, computing, and communication features that allow the combatant to have a real-time common operational image, inserting and receiving data from the mission shared with other combatants during all combat stages. Among the communication systems highlight to the PNR-1000, a lightweight UHF radio for voice and data communication that offers an extensive range of operational capabilities. The ballistic vest and the tactical backpack are an integrated system designed toprovide better ergonomics and comfort for the combatant. The operational kit was developed to load all mission equipment as well as ballistic protection.
Visitors will also have contact with the Target 360°, which is the main communication interception system in the market. Designed to provide 360-degree hermetic monitoring for law enforcement agencies (LEAs), intelligence organizations, and SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) Agencies, Target 360º collects, processes, maintains, and analyzes any type of communication activity.
WebInsight is an end-to-end solution capable of monitoring, detecting, processing and analyzing the enormous amounts of information that is constantly being created by open sources and databases such as websites, social networks, forums, blogs, talkbacks, deep web websites, among others. WebInsight improves situational awareness before, during and after an event, allowing organizations to effectively respond to them.
The events
In its first edition, the Brazil Cyber Defense Summit & Expo aims to sensitize Brazilian society and the country´s public administration on the importance of cyber defense, cyber security, communications and electronic warfare. Increased cyber threats and vulnerabilities in networks and information systems require action to safeguard national capacity and other governance structures against possible cybernetic hostile actions, as well as to reduce their effects.
In addition to compromising information and communications technology infrastructure, cyber threats can jeopardize the assets of critical government information and critical strategic structures, directly affecting National Security. Brazil Cyber Defense will offer participants the opportunity to engage in discussions and interactions with large companies and institutions, national and international experts, startups and academia in an exchange of knowledge and experiences sharing.
The 7th edition of the Conference on Simulation and Military Technology (CSTM, in Portuguese) covers defense and security technology applied to both the military and civil sectors, the so-called dual technologies. CSTM will be the stage for important discussions on the current and future scenarios of the Strategic Programs of the Brazilian Armed Forces.
The organizers expect the event to gather more than 3,000 visitors among military, business and academic, as well as approximately 100 officials. They also expect more than 70 exhibiting companies from more than 10 different countries.
