AEL Sistemas participates in the Logistical Exercise of AmazonLog Expo 2017
The company will demonstrate in the field its solutions and systems for Brazilian Army projects, in the Amazon Forest
AEL Sistemas will attend AmazonLog, the Multinational Logistics Exercise unprecedented in South America, aiming to demonstrate the company’s technological capacity in the Command & Control area and present its integrated solutions and systems for the COBRA (Brazilian Future Soldier Project) and SISFRON (Integrated Border Monitoring System) projects. After attending the AmazonLog Materials Exhibit at the end of September, AEL will be in the exercise on the week of November 6, which will be conducted by the Logistic Command (COLOG) of the Brazilian Army.
Held in Tabatinga-AM, the event was inspired by the Capable Logistician 2015, promoted by NATO countries in Hungary. In the inhospitable and challenging Amazon Forest will be built an International Logistics Base composed of Integrated Multinational Logistics Units (ULMIs, in Portuguese) that will be used to support civilians and military personnel employed in remote and unassisted regions, as is typically the case in Peace Operations and Humanitarian Aid.
"This time in Tabatinga we will have the opportunity to demonstrate for the Brazilian Army and the guests of the exercise all the capacities of our systems in the field, focusing mainly on Command & Control and systems for the combatant", says Sergio Horta, President of AEL Sistemas.
Among the solutions that AEL will test in the field is Dominator™, a system composed of many equipment and sensors, which provides a wide situational awareness, facilitating the decision-making process and increasing the operational capacity of the soldier.
An integral part of this system is Raptor, an individual high-performance tactical computer with visualization, computing, and communication features that allow the soldier to see a real-time common operational image, as well as send and receive data from the mission, and manage all combat stages. Some of AEL´s communication systems will also be showcased at AmazonLog, such as PNR-1000, a lightweight and long-range UHF radio for voice and data communication that offers an extensive range of operational capabilities. The ballistic vest and the tactical backpack are an integrated system designed to improve the combatant´s performance. The operational kit was developed to load all mission equipment as well as ballistic protection.
The company will also display Coral-CR, solution already in use by the Brazilian Army in the SISFRON program, which will be integrated into the Command & Control system during the military exercise.
AmazonLog´s attendees will also be able to check theTH-64sight, which features a high performance non-refrigerated thermal imager for light weapons, a high resolution OLED color screen housed in a sealed metal housing and submersible up to 20m, allowing the user to maximize target engagement even in severe environmental conditions. In addition to the ETC, a high-tech workstation for military vehicles with command and control capability, dissemination of tactical data to a variety of vehicles such as tanks, troop carriers, armored vehicles, among others.
In this type of exercise, the Logistic Command (COLOG) intends to know and evaluate new products and solutions for future acquisitions, including those that can improve the structures of the Brazilian Army in the Amazon.
