AEL's Terrain Following / Terrain Avoidance is a system that provides guidance symbologies for low-flying safely and improving situational awareness, even in low-visibility conditions. The solution is based on data fusion from radar mapping and a terrain and obstacle database, and considers aircraft performance and other operational factors to reduce the risks associated in low altitude missions.
